This paper analyzes the corrosion of the pump and its import and export pipelines which in the bottom of a domestic enterprise ethanolamine ammonia production plant's ethanolamine ammonia tower.In the actual production this pump cannot work normally, seriously restricting the normal operation of the equipment. When opens to this pump examines discovered that this pump presented the serious corrosion. From the pump import and export pipeline thickness measurement data can also be seen in the import and export pipeline there have been varying degrees of corrosion, and the bend's corrosion was most serious. In view of this equipment's corrosion this paper through theoretical analysis and experimental the two methods to analyze the reasons that cause corrosion of the device, and make relevant protective measures.Through analysis of the corrosion of the device, we can know, the main reason for corrosion is the degradation of ethanolamine led to increase the corrosion of the solution. The presence of impurities, such as H2S, CO2 and Cl-, would not only promote the degradation of ethanolamine, resulting in greatly increased the corrosion solution, but also have a direct corrosion of the materials used on the devices (304 stainless steel). Analysis obtained that the pump cavitations is due to the medium temperature changes between 160℃to 180℃, and when the media temperature rises to 180℃the vapor pressure of the media will higher than the pump inlet pressure, if that the pump cavitations will occurs. Ethanolamine foam also will increase the pump cavitations. Ethanolamine foam is affected by the content of solid particle, degradation product, temperature and other factors; the filter will make the solution agitation more severe, makes ethanolamine foaming more severe. This paper has also used the FLUENT software to carry on the fluid state analysis to the elbow, Obtains the elbow serious corrosion reason, and proposed the protective measure.To get a better experimental results, this paper used the scene corrosion coupon methods to determine the corrosion resistance of different materials.Combined the analysis result, this article proposed the related corrosion protective measure. After having used certain protective measure, the corrosion of the devices has significantly improvement. The corrosion condition is improved prove that this article correctly analysis the reason which the installment corrodes and proposed the proper protection methods. Although this study is for an enterprise ethanolamine production facilities, but in domestic the ethanolamine production process are similar, so the paper has certain instruction function to the ethanolamine Production enterprise's corrosion protection.
