Our country'sulfur dioxide pollution is one of the most severely in the world. The key factor of pollution is coal burning, desulufration during coal combustion is a technique to control sulfur dioxide pollution, and it is especially applies to China. With rapid development of Chinese industrial, discharge and pollution of industrial waste is increasingly serious. Therefore, the paper use industrial waste residue (carbide slag and fly ash) to prepare sulfur capture sorbents and study its desulfurization process. It not only provides a realistic and economy way to coal desulfurization, but also realizes the resource utilization of industrial wastes, waste control by waste, protecting the environment. It has highly economic and social benefits, and broad application prospects.Firstly, the analysis methods of various forms of sulfur in coal were studied. The results showed that the content of sulfur in bituminous coal was higher than that of in anthracite coal, and the mass of iron sulfur accounted the total mass of sulfur more than 70% in coal, and the mass organic sulfur was extremely low.Secondly, the sulfur fixation performance of single sulfur-fixing agent and desulfurization process conditions were studied. Studies showed that with temperature increasing the desulfurization efficiency of sulfur capture sorbents increased firstly and then decreased; with time increasing the desulfurization efficiency growed firstly and then stabilized; with the proportion of sulfur fixing agent added the desulfurization efficiency of sulfur capture sorbents increased firstly and then decreased; with the particle size of desulfurization agent decreasing the desulfurization efficiency increased; the optimal desulfurization process was determined as following:reaction time 2 h, temperature 950℃, the proportion of sulfur fixing agent added 1:14, desulfurization agent particle size 150μm~300μm. The order of sulphur fixation performance of the single sulfur-fixing agent was CaO> carbide slag> fly ash.Thirdly, the sulfur fixation performance of the sulfur compound performance was studied. Studies showed that it was better to ratio of CaO with industrial waste than carbide slag with fly ash.; carbide slag:fly ash (1:1) has better effect; the best ratio of industrial waste and CaO was fly ash with CaO; the best ratio of carbide slag:fly ash:CaO was 1:1:1, and the fixation agent efficiency of the sulfur compound sulfur was more than 87%.Finally, the sulfur retention mechanism of self-maded desulfurization agent sulfur was studied. Carbide slag and fly ash could increase internal porosity and specific surface areas of the sulfur compound agent, and also it could impede the decomposition of sulfur products, therefore, compound sulfur capture sorbents with carbide slag and fly ash had a high sulfur effect...
