As the main material of bone china, natural bone black is limited in both quality and quantity, and the rather crude way of its production process causes serious pollution. With the development of the bone china markets, the demand for animal bone black is on the rise, which together with the limited supply, leads to a dramatic increase in price. To solve this problem, we attempt to use calcium carbonate as the raw material and develop synthesized bone black, whose large-scale production will not only meet the demand for both quality and quantity of the bone, but also reduce the cost and pollution in production. The synthesized bone black has hydroxyapatite as the major component which is used as adsorbent for Pb2+ in aqueous solution. The treatment of lead-containing wastewater with ceramisite is experimentally investigated. The results show that the rate of lead removal is more than 98% as mCaHPO4:mCaCO3 is 4.2,pH is 6 and bone china content is 0.3g. The treated effluent meets the national wastewater discharge standard.TiO2 photocatalyst has an attractive application prospect in wastewater treatment and air purification.Through a lot of parallel and orthogonal experiments, the influence factors are discussed, such as ceramic ball diameter, composition, coating layers and lighting time, as well as the optimization level of the factors. Experimental results show that, when the coating layers are 4, ceramic ball diameter is 3mm, porogen content is 4%, and mCaHPO4:mCaCO3 is 2.4, the effect of catalytic is the best.
