The influence, caused by the froth well's exploitation of Wujia mine, on the working slope strata movement of Ping Zhuang west open-pit, was studied in the paper. Quantitative analysis of strata movement were adopted by using on-site monitoring, and the movement law and failure mechanism of rock slope were analysised through similarity material test. Finally, the essence influence of the froth well of Wujia mine exploitation on the strata movement of working slope in Pingzhuang west open-pit.The results showed that there were lots of negative impacts on rock slope stability in the process of underground mining. On-site monitoring data analysis shows that rock movement and subsidence above the goaf of pit mining were significantly greater than other regions', furthermore, there is a phenomenon of some measurement points'displacement direction are opposite to the normal displacement direction. Similarity material test shows that under the condition of full extraction, surrounding rock of mined-out area in underground mining were damaged and there are caving zone, fractured zone, bending band above the mined-out area, and the surface subsidence area, compression zone, stretch zone appear on the surface. Moreover, an inverted triangle rock mass formated between strata collapse line of diphead direction and F1 fault plane. This rock mass slides along the fault plane, forms the horizontal thrust ,causes its underneath partial rock layers to receive the extrusion destruction and move along diabase roof to open-air mined-out area.
