The nature and synthetic polymer materials were used to encapsulate the flavoring essence in order to avoid the volatilization of the active ingredients and control the release of flavoring substances, which can improve the stability and durability of the flavor. The fragrance microcapsules can be adhered to the textiles by coating method. The aromatic heathy functional textiles can meet the people' desier of returning to the. nature and the pursuit of the health. The qualities of human life were enhanced. So the aromatic healthy functional textiles have a broad market prospect.Depression is mental illness, it was said that there are more than 2000 million depression patients in our country,15% of them have the risk of suicide. The research results show that jasmine have a significant effect on regulating mood, while the flowers can soothe nerves and make people happy.In this study, the controlled-release microcapsules containing jasmine perfume compounds were synthesized by emulsion polymerization from melamine-formaldehyde resins. The effects of different reaction parameters were studied. The aromatic printing textiles were made with coating method. This experiment was mainly consisted of three parts:(1) The controlled-release microcapsules containing jasmine perfume compounds were synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The effects of different reaction parameters including pH, content of surfactants, emulsifying time and rate, core/shear ratio on the formation characteristics, particle size, distribution and the surface structure of the microcapsules were studied. The structural adjusting control was realized by changing the reaction parameters, and the optimum synthetic conditions were found out. (2) The microcapsules were adhered to the cotton fabrics with coating method by using of the polyacrylate adhesives and the solute polyurethane adhesives, the fragrance capacity and sustained-release effect of the aromatic fabrics were studied. (3) The aromatic microcapsules were added into the printing paste. The wearability and safety of the aromatic printing textiles were discussed. In this article, the structure of the microcapsules were characterized by the Fourier-transform, the morphology characteristics of the microcapsules were observed by means of SEM, the particle size and size distribution of the microcapsules were measured by the laser particle analyzer. The encapsulation efficiency of the microcapsules, the fragrance capacity and sustained-release effect of the aromatic fabrics were measured by ultraviolet absorption spectrophotometry.The main results are summarized as follows:(1) FTIR spectra of the melamine resin, jasmine fragrance and fragrance microcapsules showed jasmine flavor has been coated with melamine resin.(2) The effects of several factors on microcapsule's formation and performance were studied, it was found the pH means great importance to the whole system, which is the foundation for successfully microcapsuled, with limits, what's more, with the increasing amount of emulsifier, prolonging emulsion time and higher emulsifying rate, the microcapsules have smaller size, narrow size distribution and better surface quality. The structural adjusting control was realized by changing the reaction parameters.(3) The optimum conditions for preparing the slow-releasing flavor microcapsules of double layered wall were defined as pH 4.5,15.4% of the amount of emulsifier, 10min of the emulsion time,16000r/min of the emulsifying rate,1:1 of the core-to-wall ratio. Small and even microcapsules had been prepared, the average particle size are about 3μm, the particle size distribution about 0.3-4.0μm, the flavor microcapsules were in round balls and have smooth surface, and the retention ratio of the flavor microcapsules was about 82.4%.(4) The microcapsules were adhered to the cotton fabrics with coating method by using of the polyacrylate adhesives and the solute polyurethane adhesives.(5) The process parameters of the aromatic finishing such as the baking time and baking temperature have a great influence on the amount of the essence of the aromatic textiles. When the baking time was 30s, with the increasing of baking temperature, with limits, the amount of essence on the treated fabrics decreased gradually, the finished fabric was baked at 160℃for 30s, and the essence almost was volatized. When the baking temperature was 80℃, with the increasing of baking time, with limits, the amount of essence on the treated fabrics decreased gradually, the finished fabric was baked at 80℃for 3min, and the essence almost was evaporated. Form the fastness and the amount of retention flavor and other aspects to consider, the best process conditions were baking temperature 80℃and baking time 30-90s.(6) The aromatic textiles prepared by coating method have excellent fragrance capacity, which still have flavor after washing 50 times, and there were more than 20% essence after scrubbing 100 times and more than 70% essence after rubbing 100 times.(7) The aromatic pringting textiles prepared by this experiment have excellent controlled release properties which can contionued release aroma more then six months under the natural lay up conditions.(8) The aromatic microcapsules were added into the printing paste, the tensile strength and tear strength of the printing fabrics have no significant changes.(9) After the aromatic finishing, since the addition of microcapsules changed the continuity of adhesive "film", the air permeability, moisture permeability, drape property, and flexibility of the printing fabrics has been improved.(10) The content of released formaldehyde of the the aromatic pringting textiles was lower than 200ppm, after the treatment of removal formaldehyde, the content of released formaldehyde was lower than 30ppm, which was belong to the scope of a low formaldehyde, which illustrated the aromatic pringting textiles prepared by this experiment have a broad field of use and high security.
