With the rapid development of China's metallurgy technology, a large number of gold mining tailings discharged daily, large tailings pile, not only requires considerable capital investment, but also impacts the ecological environment. Therefore, the effective use of tailings resources in the cycle of economic development, the country's gold industry would be promoted. Meanwhile, the effective use of tailings resources, not only solve the pollution problem, improve economic efficiency, and achieve sustainable economic development.Preparation of this paper Sanshandao silica tailings to the tailings of the use of a new way to explore. Experiment to Sanshandao tailings as raw materials and pressure treatment with alkali dissolution of SiO2 in the gold mine tailings into a water glass, and then were prepared using precipitated amorphous SiO2 (silica), Not only improves the gold tailings utilization level for gold tailings in the effective use of silicon dioxide to provide a new way for solving the environmental problems, has overcome these shortcomings.The main considerations during the experiment conditions on the extraction of silica: the reaction temperature, melt dosage and reaction time. The experiment shows the reaction temperature at 105oC, solid-liquid ratio was 1:2, reaction time 7 h, SiO2 of the optimal extraction rate of the best.Polymeric ferric sulfate (PFS) was prepared through the direct reaction of sulfuric acid and filter residue mainly containing ferric oxides in this paper. Furthermore, modified PFS was studied. Through comparison of single-factor tests, the optimal process conditions had been optimized: leaching temperature was 90℃, leaching time was 2.0 h, ratio of acid/cinder was 2:1; polymerization temperature 55℃, polymerization time 1.5h. Result shows that the total icon and basicity of PFS are agreements with the industrial standard and national standard. This process has many advantages such as simple technology, short reaction time, low investment, low cost and good for environment. It designates an efficient way for the comprehensive utilization of the cinder. The optimum process conditions: acid and slag mass ratio of 2:1, Concentration of sulfuric acid is 40%, the polymerization temperature is 55℃, polymerization time of 90min.Products for the red-brown viscous liquid, light yellow solid after concentration. Use it to deal with paper, chemical, leather, medicine, industrial wastewater, the effect of a good deal: the formation of floc faster, dense particles than the major, fast settling velocity; in the application process, the raw water temperature and pH value to adapt the scope of wider (PH range of 4 11); its CODcr removal rate of more than 90% effective deodorant. The method is simple, feasible, short reaction time, low investment, low cost, environmentally friendly.
