With the development of economic, many infrastructions projects can be speeded to put into practice. There are many highways to be constructed in many places. The gob area includes many cavitases and crannies which reduce the mechanical strength of rock, causing the top of the goaf decrease the bearing capacity of foundation construction. With the growth of the mine service, mining methods is diverse in different geological conditions. So use the short and long arm hybrid mining exploitation methods to study the overburden movement and sueface deformation regular is important implications for building preservation on surface and effect father in goaf.This paper takes the xinbao expressway in the coal mine goafs section as experiment's research base, adopting similar material simulation experiment and numerical simulation methods to discussed the surface deformation and rock deformation mechanism.Some main achievements obtained as below:(1) According to the results of the experiment similar material simulation, we dicuss the overburden movement and sueface deformation regular;(2) We research the rock's destroy mechanism and extent when using the short and long arm hybrid mining exploitation methods to mine;(3) According to the numerical calculation results, we study the displacement,stress,destroy and surface sink when the coal seam's width and distance change.
