With the quick development of the industrial technology, different kinds of pollution severely destroyed the living environment of people. And with the propose of sustainable development concept, people pay more attentions to water protecting project, demand to build more treatment facilities and ask for more technology being used in wastewater treatment control system. With the quick development of the computer technique and the demand upon the automation of wastewater treatment is rising all the while, making use of the advanced control technique and equipments to supervise and control wastewater treatment is very necessary. Meanwhile, wastewater treatment is a strong nonlinear process, having different kinds of larger random parameters, to some important quality indicator there isn't mature and cheap online biologic sensors. Some important variable, for example, we don't have the mature and economic measuring equipment of the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) and the chemical oxygen demand (COD). So, the modeling research of wastewater treatment system is significant.Electrical part design: According to the wastewater treatment process and emission standards, analyzing each subsystem and selecting the industrial devices.PLC program part design: According to the aims of control system designing and customers'request, PLC programmed respectively in different control nodes, maked the control system running in a stable, safe, efficient state.Upper machine part design: Designing supervision interface of wastewater treatment with industrial software of Wonderware Company: InTouch, achieved monitoring and controlling to the wastewater treatment process for locale operators.This project is based on a wastewater treatment system, modeling with Support Vector Machine(SVM),Partical Swarm Optimization(PSO) and known wastewater treatment parameters, predicted the output concentration of BOD5 and COD. In order to solve the parameters selection problem in SVM, here the partical swarm optimization algorithm was used which had better searching abilities. Finally achieve the soft sensing of the wastewater treatment control system parameters. And it provided the foundation of control strategy for locale operators, improved the output water quality of the whole system.
