Supercritical CO2 Fluid Extraction and separation of the field as a high-tech today, remain separate products with biological activity, improve the separation efficiency and purity of extraction, and have safe non-toxic, simple, time efficient, and so on many other advantages. In this paper, supercritical CO2 fluid extraction and traditional solvent realize the brown pigment from chestnut shell by single factor experiments and orthogonal test screening to determine the better operating conditions, but also surface active agent Coordination - supercritical CO2 fluid extraction of chestnut shell brown pigment technology, design high yield, short time, low cost, energy consumption and pollution-free's process route. Structure and properties of chestnut shell brown pigment was identified by chemical analysis , the purity of product, preparation and performance is systematic studied to achieve efficient use of chestnut shell residues.The paper introduces the chestnut shell brown pigment extraction, supercritical CO2 fluid extraction principles and applications.Supercritical CO2 fluid extraction chestnut shell brown pigment optimal operating conditions for the extraction pressure 35 MPa, extraction temperature 50℃, extraction time 2 h, particle size 40 mesh, 95% ethanol entrainer Solution, CO2 flow rate of 40 kg / h is designed by single factor experiments and orthogonal. Experimentions study process further of surfactant collaboration - supercritical CO2 fluid extractioned chestnut shell brown pigment, and ultimately determine the dosage of surfactant AEO was 0.03% (wt%).Research of Chestnut shell brown pigment on the performance shows that: chestnut shell brown pigment have good stability in weak acid, neutral and alkaline conditions; chestnut shell brown pigment have good light and thermal stability; chestnut shell brown pigment's resist oxidation and reduction is well, wide range of applications. Some food additives have little effect on the brown pigment ,which can be widely used in food processing.Adopting traditional methods of ethanol as extractant to achieve solvent extraction of chestnut shell brown pigment. By orthogonal and single factor test extraction conditions on the screening to determine the better test conditions of solvent extracted shell chestnut brown pigment extracted: 75% ethanol, extraction temperature 70℃, extraction time 4h, liquid ratio of 20, chestnut shell Brown pigment extraction was 4.6% which's structure is accord with literature reported. Chestnut shell brown pigment dissolved in some solution in the order: methanol, 10% NaOH> distilled water> ethanol> 10% hydrochloric acid> carbon tetrachloride. Through the comparison of different extraction methods, chestnut shell brown pigment purity and yield reached 95.3% and 21.3% by surface active agent Coordination - supercritical CO2 fluid extraction extraction.
