By way of Molecular dynamics, we found two kinds of fixed structures from studying the characteristics of Magic number clusters:the umbrella structure and the pyramid structureBy molecular dynamics studies have show that:the umbrella structure and the pyramid structure in the magic number chuster can be used as a parent structure, which were assumed to act on other order or disorder clusters an by stretching these clusters in normal temperature, the whole cluster structure can be in order and accordingly, one-dimensional nano stick with helical-structure will be induced.The study of mechanics properties of nano sticks and Magic number clusters drew some conclusions as follows:Cluster with different atom dimensions behaved different mechanics properties and deformation mechanisms during the procedure of stretching. Magic number clusters displayed structural reorganization obviously in this procedure and the structure of clusters turned into the other one because of the fracture of metallic bonds.The applied stress vibrated along with the accelerated tensile strain. The simulation tension of nano sticks which was transformed from stretching umbrella structure refering to Cu163,Cu181,Cu199 showed that nano sticks with this structure have similar stress—strain curves and excellent ductibility.The umbrella structure nano sticks will snap easily if the tensile stress exceeds the ultimate strength of nano sticks. The simulation tension of nano sticks which was transformed from pyramid structure indicated that the diameter of this kind of nano sticks decreased, and the necking phenomenon appeared accompanied by umbrella structure when the tensile stress exceeds the ultimate strength.
