High phosphorus hematite flotation waste water because of its high alkaline, typical colloidal suspensions characteristics, the solid-liquid separation only by gravity settling is very difficult. At present, the treatment method around the world is basically stored in large waste water and tailings settling pond, through a long period of natural sedimentation processes, but this approach not only resulted in a huge land and water resources waste also exist dyke burst, leakage and other potential threats. This article is about to investigate the treatment technologies and processes of high phosphorus hematite flotation wastewater based on the mineral processing waste water treatment at home and abroad. According to the theories and research of treatment methods, the experimental study on wastewater treatment technology, and the flotation and re-integrated magnetic water treatment, optimization of mineral processing waste water treatment process parameters. The study not only important to ore flotation wastewater treatment and reuse, but also for the treatment of high turbidity wastewater with high alkalinity is also important reference.1, The analysis of the nature showed characteristics of the wastewater, which indicators are high, such as pH 11.00, turbidity 2.8×105NTU, CODCr 1.1×104mg/l and TP190mg/l, the particle size of suspended particles in wastewater accounted for 96% less than 5μm, Zeta potential is -32mV, stability suspended in the wastewater difficult to settlement.2, Screening directly through the comparative study, the settlement flocculation treatment programs and two flocculation stages programs, two flocculation stages treatment is optimized, and ultimately can make the residual turbidity decreased to 0.802 NTU<1.0 NTU. Turbidity, pH, CODCr, NH3-N and total phosphorus have been meet the requirements. Short settling time of the program, adding up to the settlement time of two stages is 90min, the total flocculate cost of 0.30 yuan/m3 the most economical, so the two flocculation stages treatment of the three options in the co-flocculation treatment program is the best.3, The technology study on mixed effluent, re-integrated magnetic separation wastewater:flotation wastewater=1.4:1, the pH of which is 8.13. The study of wastewater treatment through the orthogonal test, when pH 8.13, the contribution of each factor and the mean size to the minimum factors represent the best conditions, obtained optimal solution as flocculent:PFS, PAM coagulant dosage:0.05mg/L, flocculent dosing time:60s, coagulant dosage:20mg/L. Furthermore hydraulic conditions are optimized to enhance the effect.4, According to "electrostatic bridge" mechanism, suggesting that mineral particles may be formed by metal hydroxide precipitation "electrostatic bridge" in the non-selective aggregation way, as the increasing of metal ion adsorption, surface precipitation increased, and bridging opportunities also increased. With the growing particles in the gravitational effect, the colloidal suspensions are settled and separated from the water. Polymer flocculent apply its "adsorption bridging" function, a large number of branched-chain through its take on two or more colloids or particles, and thus the formation of colloidal or particulate flocculation connected groups.
