Methane is gas geological body, which formed by coal during the geological history, its generation, migration, preservation is controlled by geological factors, it is the result of geological processes. Finding out the geotectonic evolution, the uplift and denudation of stratas, the precipitation and depression of stratas, is the only way to clear the preservation conditions of gas and clarify the law of gas geology in the coalfield.Combining with previous studies information, the author, using geological evolution and tectonic gradual control theory,did some research and analysis on the basin group of Eastern Heilongjiang Province. The author divided the basin group into East and West zone by the different law of gas geology. In eastern belt, NE strike structures is major tectonic, which control the boundary of magmatism; In Western belt, NW strike structures is major structurel, which is influencing factor on coal and gas outburst band range. Hegang basin experienced Sichuan,Huabei,Xishan and new tectonic period. Gas formation, storage, transport, cover is controlled by these structures.By analyzing the fault structures, coal depth, coal thickness, rock properties and other factors on the gas content of coal, the author find out the law about gas geology of No.22 seam in xinxing coal mine, and use multiple regression model to forecast of gas content. The author collect some typical gas emission of No.22 coal seam, and predict the gas emission with the gas geological statistics method and sub-prediction method. Considering the measured gas pressure, the author forecast the NO.22 coal seam outburst danger on the basis of the Outburst prevention provisions.
