It uses regional geological evolution theory and tectonic cascade control theory to research Tianshan tectonic evolution, Aiweiergou structural evolution; and to research the influence of geology evolution on coal formation gas birth, storage, transportation and cover. It counts a large of field measurement of gas emission, gas content, gas pressure data mining, and combines the geological evolution of minefield, analyzes the gas occurrence characteristics of Aiweiergou mining area, studies the control function that different geological structures have on coalbed gas,and draws the gas geological rule of Aiweiergou mining area. It forecasts the mine gas content and calculates CBM resources.Aiweiergou mining area is controled by tectonic evolution of Tianshan orogenic belt, the period of eight bay coal seam deposition is in regional stretch faulted environment, belongs to continental of post-building hills and coal-bearing building. To middle-late Jurassic, coal seam boasts the deepest reach of 500 meters, being the main period of beight bay group hydrocarbon generation. The coal seam gas content of minefield is controled by the buried depth, coal thickness, coal metamorphism degree, coal outcrops and geological structures and lithologic combination of geological conditions such as common. During various geological factors, coal buried depth is the main controlling factors of the gas occurrence. Coal seam gas content and buried depth is a logarithmic relationship. In the buried depth of 360 meters, the gas content is 8cubic meters per ton, while the coalbed gas weathered zone depth is in r buried depth 50 meters place. Taking gas pressure of 0.74 MPa as the distinction, it divides the coal and gas outstanding danger zone and no outstanding danger zone. 263 meters in depth is for no outstanding danger zone, buried depth 263 meters with deep is the coal and gas outstanding danger zone. Using gas geology statistics, it calculates the number 5 coal seam's geological reserves of 715.01M cubic meters, belongs to a small reserves level, for 0.392×10~8 cubic meters per square kilometers, belongs to inter's lower reserves abundance level.
