Marine oil spill not only destroys the water environment seriously, but also affects human health, and restrics economic development. So, it is very important to study on the behaviors and fate of the oil spill forecast model on the marine, provide useful information for marine enviroment manegement to clear-up oil spills in a timely manner. Oil spill affected by many environmental factors, the wind and water currents is the most important ones of them. This paper summarized the research work of former. Model for the two-dimensional oil spill to simulate the behavior and fate is developed based on the Hydrodynamic model. The main task contents include:Firstly, this paper choised FVCOM (The Finite-Volume Coastal Ocean Model) to simulate the current of the Dalian Bay, and the mumerical simulation results are validated.Secondly, Model for the two-dimensional oil spill to simulate the behavior and fate is developed, and has been apllied to the oil spill accident in 16 july 2010 which caused by oil pipeline explosion, and compared between observed and simulated values. Based on the "oil" idea, random walk theory and Lagrangian tracking simulated the oil spill of drift, diffusion, and evaporation. In this method, the oil slicks is divided into a number of small grids and each of them drift, diffusion, spreading due to advection, turbulent diffusion, and each grid coordinate system changes with time. The location of each grid point at evry time step can be computed, the movement and shap of oil slick on the water surface can be simulated. Finally, program the mathematical method by using computer language, post-process software is used to draw and demonstrate the numerical data. The results shows oil spill drift, diffusion is mainly affected by the trend and the sea wind. As the oil spill accident occurred in Daliaxingang, coast line near Dalian Bay is polluted by a large extent, environment has benn destroyed, large area of film drift to the sea outside the Dalian Bay, causing large scale pollution of the sea.
