The wedge of making this research is that I notice the differences between cognizing Chinese and western culture, which is because of the different considerations and aims in epistemology. Most of the western philosophies emphasize to cognize the world with rationality objective attitude as well as to hold the weltanschauung which regards the world with religious subjective attitude. However, Chinese philosophy emphasize the instinct wisdom of attach great importance to knowing the extension-duration and the essence of life rationally. Mou Zongsan said, Chinese philosophy takes'life'as the central part. The thesis derivate the path for Chinese people understanding the world. Also, the thesis uses rhetoric discourse analysis and raises sour as an example to analyze the spread of the effects of taste-symbol and its external effects. Through a certain historical context of the discourse practice, the thesis substitute taste-symbol into the statements and among the statements to examine the concept of right and the concept of otherness for Chinese people.So-call the Communication of taste has three types and stages. They are Physiological mechanism of taste communication, psychological mechanisms of taste communication, and cultural transmission mechanism of taste communication. I find that Chinese build up their viewpoints of body through taste. First of all, food and taste represent people's social class. China has various complicated eating etiquette, in fact, China's authoritarian political start to preview and function from the family eating table. Second, food represents ones dignity and honor. In china, people think "eating in Zhang's, while working for Li's" (live on somebody.while helping others secretly) is a taboo, which means food should be distinguished the source, otherwise it's an immoral behavior to eat unauthorized, worse, it could bring political disaster if leader doesn't pay attention to the quality of food and eating etiquette. The most important, "eating" alienate the relationships of Chinese. Eating itself has been beyond and away from its original meaning. As a sense of community, Chinese food culture and their experience of taste has changed by packaging and bundling etiquette for thousands of years. Taste, as a social sense, is made to be one of the features of Chinese relationship by the changes. This shows that the sense of taste is the way for Chinese to know their relationships and the universe. It is the transmission of self-consciousness that builds up the unique viewpoint of body, and it is very different from the west.
