In this work, a series of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)/LiClO4 complexes with low crystallinity have been prepared successfully. By using solid-state NMR, we have performed a systematical study on the phase structure and molecular dynamics of the materials. The results greatly deepen our understanding of the conductivity mechanism of such polyelectrolyte systems. The contents of this work include two parts:In the first part, we demonstrated that the PEO/C60 complex could be prepared by the precipitation via adding the PEO/water droplets into C60/benzene solution. In this part, we focused on the interaction between PEO and C60 that may strongly influence the crystallization of the PEO macromolecules. In the second part, we used the similar precipitation scheme to prepare the PEO/Li+/C60 complexes. The observation from the wide-angle X-ray diffraction and solid-state NMR indicates that the obtained materials all have a very low crystallinity. Based on such observation, the phase structure and molecular dynamics in these materials were discussed intensively. Afterwards, we measured the conductivity of the materials. The influence of the Li+ and C60 on the conductivity of the materials is discussed.
