The consumed mine's resource was high, and secondary utilization of the mine'sresource was low in the industry of copper metallurgy, especially copper pyrometallurgy,so that lots of resource which can be used became pollutants in environment. Theemission load of copper converter flue-dust was very large, in the meantime, the copperconverter flue-dust was the secondary resources which has not been fully utilized. So itwas of theoretical and realistic significance to reccver and multipurpose use the valuableelement such as copper,zinc and lead .This article proposed the new process in which copper converter flue-dust wasfully utilized by means of intensive study on the copper converter flue-dust of a coppercompany in the north, and firstly the extraction process was applied in thecomprehensive utilization of copper converter flue-dust. After copper converterflue-dust was leached by sulfuric acid, over 90 percent of copper and zinc entered intoacid-leaching liquor and most lead entered into acid-leaching residue in the form of leadsulfate. the process of precipitation transformation,nitric acid dissolution and sulfuricacid sinking lead was applied to deal with acid-leaching residue, the result was thatsulfuric lead was produced, the purity of which already reached the request ofindustrical first class. The sponge copper was produced by means of iron powderreplacement in acid-leaching liquor of copper converter flue-dust,and it directlyreturned matte converting systemï¼›After the process of oxidization,neutralizationand hydrolyzation was applied to the acid-leaching and recovering copper of copperconverter flue-dust, then the iron-removal and cleansing liquor was extracted by P204through three stages cross current solvent extraction, zinc sulfate solution was producedthrough one stage back extraction of organic phase, it reached the request of electrolyticzinc.The research contents and experimental result of this article was as follows:1.Analyse and discuss the effect factor such as temperature,sulphuric acidconcentration,leaching time and the liquid-solid ratio from the standpoint of dynamicsand thermodynamics,and found out the best technological conditions in which copperconverter flue-dust was leached by sulfuric acid.2.Dispose the acid-leaching liquor of copper converter flue-dust with method of ironpowder replacement through the experimental study on copper recovery of copperconverter flue-dust. The obtained sponge copper directly returned to converter system, and analysed and discussed the influence factor on copper replacement rate such as ironpowder excess coefficient,reaction temperature,reaction time and initial pH of solution.3.Based on the research on the acid-leaching and copper-extracting solutioncomposition of copper converter flue-dust, manganese dioxide, which was one of theefficient oxidant, was used to translate Fe2+ into Fe3+ efficiently, found out appropriateneutralizers which were used to reduce acidity,adjusted pH value and acceleratedhydrolysis reaction,and analysed and discussed the influence factor on Removing Ferate such as addition of manganese dioxide,initial pH of solution,reaction temperatureand reaction time.4. The acid-leaching and purified liquor of copper converter flue-dust was extracted byP204 in three stages cross current solvent extraction, the influence factors on solventextraction rate such as extraction time,P204 volume concentration,initical pH value ofsolution and phase ratio were analyzed and discussed.5. The acid-leaching residu of copper converter flue-dust was translated into lead sulfateby means of hydrometallurgy, and technological process and condition of extractinglead with hydrometallurgy were issued;the influence factors on carbonation process ofacid-leaching residu of copper converter flue-dust such as Na2CO3 excessivecoefficient,reaction temperature,reaction time and liquid-solid ratio were analyzed anddiscussed, The best technological conditions was proposed in which the acid-leachingresidu of copper converter flue-dust were carbonated.
