Studies On The Construction Of Arylic Quaternary Carbons In Natural Alkaloids

This thesis is about the recent progresses towards the construction of arylic quaternary carbons in Galanthamine-type and Morphine-type natural alkaloids, and the synthesis of these key synthetic intermediates during my master program..The first chapter mainly described the construction of arylic all-carbon quaternary center in Galanthamine-type natural alkaloids through Michael addition reaction, in which the key intermediate of this type of alkaloids was achieved by a novel synthetic route.The second chapter mainly concerns the construction of the arylic quaternary carbon through oxidative coupling which is contained in the key synthetic intermediates for total synthesis of Morphine-type natural alkaloids.
