Monitoring And Evaluation Of Eco-Environment Base On 3S Technology In The Damao Banner

We need wide range and real-time monitor ecological environment data for the ecological environment monitor and appraisal is long term timeless and all-around, and the data must be accurate. We also need to deal with this data effectively and fleetly. Traditional method for ecological environment monitor is small scope, bad current situation and information insufficiency. Using "3S" technology may overcome these shortcomings. The evaluation of various essential factors to the ecological environment quality will be synthesis, dynamic and real-time. The spatial information and the attribute information can be analyzed integrative. All of these can enhance the ecological environment quality monitor and the appraisal precision.The article refers to the predecessor's theory and practice about applying the "3S" technology in the remote sensing monitor. The article researchs ecological environment status and dynamic change of Damao Banner, in the 2000 and 2008. The study result showed that the ecological environment status of Damao Banne was general in 2000 and 2008. But compared with that of 2000, the ecological environment status of 2008 had a meliorate trend.The evaluation results show the ecological environment status of Damao Banner had a meliorate trend, but was still in poorer level. So we still need to take certain measures to protect and improve the ecological environment, in order to realize the sustainable development of social, economic and ecological environment in Damao Banner. Governments at all levels should understand fully ecological environment characteristics and change trend, and formulate ecological environmental protection and development program, so as to promote ecological environment, on the basis of respect objective laws.
