The content of TP in water could cause the eutrophication, which promotes the development of sewage dephospatation processes. The study apply electro-chemical and coagulative precipitation which are new united methods into sewage dephosphrization treatment foe a high efficient and low energy consumption. Electrocoagulation is a kind of sustainable sewage treatment method which have great development space technologically and advantages such as the cheaper materials, sample operation and no secondary pollution. The experiment use iron plate and titanum coated board as anode and cathode resoectively in static test. Ec test the effect of TP removal and the situation of energy consumption on different current density, plate spacing and initial pH.It shows that the smaller current density does, the lower energy consume, vice also established. The experiment choose 20mA/cm2 as the best current density in the condition of better removal efficiency and proper consumption from five candidate current densities. Voltage increases with the increase of plate distance, and also the energy consumption is higher besides removal rate. When the plate spacing is small, the polarization is obvious and effect is poor. The optimal spacing distance is 2cm,which is the better removal effect and lower energy consumption one. Initial pH in neutral or alkaline conditions was significantly better than acidic on effect. Three parameters (current density, plate spacing and initial pH) have remarkable effect on the TP removal, and the order is current density, plate spacing and initial pH.It proves that the best condition for EC to remove TP from sewage by experiment optimization is 2cm for plate spacing,20mA/cm2 for current density and the neutral or partial alkaline initial pH. In this condition, the changing of removal is obvious in 10 minutes and TP removal rate reach 95.44%.After lOminutes, the trend of changing is unconspicuous. TP remove rate reach 99.20%at 30minutes.The applied prospect of EC which has more practical application value are wider than traditional dephosphatation processes. Electro-coagulation dephosphatation processes also could be applied to intergrated sewage treatment equipment for the areas where have no drainage processing system.
