Blasting technology is widely used in Water and Hydroelectric project, railway transport, mining and other fields. However, some negative effects would occur inevitably during blasting including blasting vibration, one of the major negative effects. And accidents caused by excessive blasting vibration happens frequently. How to predict and reduce the blasting vibration effects during engineering and take appropriate control measures cause long-term focus of attention.The article mainly focuses on vibration prediction techniques and finds the optimal prediction method by analyzing and comparing the related researches home and broad.The article makes calculation according to build mathematical model by Sadaovsk formula and its modified formula and converts blasting vibration velocity data measured into linear equation to get Site Coefficient K and Attenuation Coefficient a, and last adopts empirical formula for velocity prediction. The advantage of Sadaovsk formula is that the prediction method is simple and easy to use, but the disadvantage is its low precision.To derived blasting equal vibration lines according to principle of equal vibration seismic lines and get its laws and characteristic by Explosive dynamics. And then it is used in some mine after modeling and generated charts of equal vibration lines. In all, prediction of blasting equal vibration lines is viable.The article also analysis artificial neural network method used widely recently on blasting vibration forecasting, especially the back-propagation neural network used in predicting PPV and main frequency. According to the principle of genetic algorithms and implementation procedures, the neural network method based on genetic algorithms is adopted in predicting blasting vibration.And then build the mathematical model as Sadaovsk empirical formula model, equal vibration lines model and neural network model optimized by genetic algorithm. The report of blasting vibration prediction system is compiled through systematic demand analysis, detailed design, database design, module design and process design and select software development platform and hardware and software operating environment according to the report. Finally, use a computer language program to realize the function of blast vibration prediction system and then develop a set of user-friendly, simple operation, easy to learn for the domestic blast vibration prediction software.
