With the fast industrialization in recent years, the discharge of organic wastewater increased rapidly in China. Environment pollution has become a critical problem. Particularly those wastewater containing organic pollutants poses serious threats to human health due to its low biodegradability. Liquid discharge technology for organic dyes wastewater treatment has many advantages, for high efficiency, easy to operate, no secondary pollution and so on, and become an organic wastewater treatment technology research hotspot.Discharge catalysis technique with Ti anode on the brilliant red B,Acid Red B wastewater treatment has been studied. This technology shows good result in brilliant red B,Acid Red B decolorizing. Under special conditions, the decolorization is more than 90%. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Red B,Acid Red B were treated by liquid discharge on the analysis of the treatment effect, degradation of brilliant red B is related with the power parameters,electrode parameters,electrolyte and so on; the effect of voltage,electrode depth and electrolyte concentration is obvious, the relative impact of other factors is weak; the degradation reaction accords with first order reaction kinetics..2. The experimental results show that:with the increase of reaction time, the solution pH value gradually decreased until it become the strong acid; The experimental process produces a variety of free radicals and active substances, which increassd the conductivity of the solution.3. In their most appropriate reactions, we compared with the AL and Mo electrode on the decolorization of the red B. Discovered that titanium electrode discharge is possible played a catalytic role, raiseing the treatment effect.4. Investigation of the treatment effect and degradation mechanism researched by spectral analysis and COD analysis. The result shows that, after brilliant red B had treated by the discharge catalysis technique, its oze bond of molecular structure was broken and the conjugated system of oze-benzene ring was destroyed, so as to achieve the purpose of decolorization. This paper also preliminarily discussed the discharge process mechanism of brilliant red B decolorizing.2.Useing the single polarity pulse power, we examines the acoustic environmental changes, and we preliminary understand the connection between the noise and the current changes.Through a series of experiments, we indicated that the discharge catalysis technique is feasible in water treatment, and it had shown synergy in a certain degree. This study needs further research to explore more mechanism in order to apply the actual wastewater treatment.
