Its proportion of the total copper production is increasing, and has a rapid growth trend in recent years.In the Leaching-Solution eXtraction-ElectroWinning process, the choice of extraction solvent is an important part. Different acidity of the leaching solution use different types of extractants. Extractant can be divided into oximes compound, P-diketone, ternary amine and other types,β-diketone extractant extraction copper from ammonia leaching solution, has the advantages of high selectivity and extraction capacity, does not extract ammonia, stripping fast, has a wide range of applications areas of recovery of copper, such as lean ore, circuit board scrap, PCB etching solution, electroplating solution. Representative product is the HENKEL company's LIX54 and LIX54-100.The extactant studied in this paperβ-diketone compound is 1-phenyl decane-1,3-dione. Used octanoic acid, sulfuric acid, methanol, sodium methoxide and acetophenone as the main raw materials, synthetic n-octyl ester, obtained 1-Phenyl decane-1.3-dione by Claisen condensation. After screening, the best conditions are:1. Esterification reaction:n (octanoic acid):n (methanol): n (toluene):n (sulfuric acid)=1:5:0.2:0.15; feeding three times; reaction time:18 hours; boiling reflux.2. Claisen condensation:n (acetophenone):n (n-octyl ester):n (methanol and sodium)= 1:1.10:1.16; using toluene as a solvent; nitrogen atmosphere; reaction temperature:110℃; the total reaction time:3 hours. Confirmed by GC-MS, the yield is more than 95%.
