Butyl-acrylate is one of important raw materials, which widely used in chemical industry, synthetic fibre industry, adhesives industry and coatings industry, leather industry, textile industry, paper industry and so on. the quantity of butyl-acrylate consumption is the biggest in acrylic ester. With the increase of market demand for butyl-acrylate, more and more attention was paid to its production wastewater treatment. In allusion to the character(high-salt,composition onefold) of organic salts(Includ ing acrylic sodium and p-toluenesulfonic sodium),we adopt electrodialysis technology concentrated organic salts from wastewater ,which can further improve the potential of utilization. The experiment studied the effects of voltage, flow, volume ratio on desalination and concentration of wastewater.and gain the optimal conditions. The result showed that the voltage, volume ratio and flow all had effects,. when the voltage was 10V, volume ratio was 5:1, flow was 80L/h , the electrodialysis effect was better. The acrylic sodium could be concentrated from 52.22g/L to 124 g/L.Under the optimal conditions, organic salts in the acrylate wastewater could be desalted by 99.7%,and the removal rate of COD was 90%. The salt could be concentrated from 5.74% to 15.2%,and the concentrated solution can be recycled.
