The bio fiber/thermo plastics composite (FPC) are a kind of new natural green environment-friendly materials, which are made by bio fiber and thermoplastics in different combining ways. In order to obtain a lightweight fiber composite used for interior decoration materials, The paper studied the physical and mechanical, thermal, acoustic properties of FPC, using salix fibers and waste polypropylene (PP) fiber as the main raw material,modified salix fiber surface properties by coupling agent A, B1-based foaming agent, B2 as vice foaming agent, and combination of polymer foam technology, hot pressing wood-based panels and non-textile technology make of bio fiber /polypropylene foam composite of 0.3g/cm3 .The main conclusions of this paper as following:⑴Considering the indicators, the results showed that, when rate of foaming agent amount 2:1, temperature 180℃and Composite time 20Min,6% coupling agent, 6% foaming agent, the physical and mechanical properties of FPC were highest.The FPC prepared under optimum conditions, the actual density was 0.307g/cm3, 2h(TS)was 5.32%, MOR was 2.53MPa, are better than JIS A 5905:2003 wall insulation requirements;⑵The results also showed,by the foaming process, can significantly improve the thermal conductivity of composite materials; composite temperature, compound time, the amount of coupling agent and the amount of foaming agent, ratio of foaming agent are very significant factors; the affecting order: compound time, rate of foaming agent, composite temperature, foaming agent and coupling agent; the thermal conductivity of the composite material is less than 0.25(W /(m?K)),so it can be used as Insulation material⑶Composite temperature, compound time, the coupling agent, foaming agent on the absorption coefficients of composite materials are very significant; the Optimum preparation of absorption coefficient: Composite temperature 180℃,compound time,25min, the amount of coupling agent 3%, 6% foaming agent, the ratio of foaming agent was 2:1;for this composite materials, the average absorption coefficient more than 0.5, so salix fiber/thermo plastics composite can be considered as sound-absorbing material used in the project.⑷Ultrasonic nondestructive testing showed that there are a number of foam in the Salix fiber / polypropylene (PP) foam composite,and the same time, 6% foaming agent is the best.
