The iron and steel enterprise are forced to explore new technological breakthrough to get rid of the present predicament, that the production cost continuously rise while the users continuously raise their request for the performance-to-price ratio of cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets. CSP (compact strip production) process has become one of the industrial application plans to provide material for the production of cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets. But hot-rolled low carbon steel sheets produced by CSP process have high mechanical properties and are not suitable to be used to produce cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets, because of CSP process's own characteristics. This thesis, taking SPHE hot-rolled sheets produced by LY Steel's CSP process and DC04 hot-rolled sheets from Liuzhou Iron Steel Co. as the research objects, analyzed the influence of different hot rolling process on the microstructures and mechanical properties of hot-rolled sheets, the influence of hot rolling process, cold rolling process and annealing process on the microstructures and mechanical properties of deep drawing steel products, and the questions of producing cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets based on LY Steel's CSP process, which might appear. At the same time, the thesis studied the reasons why there were no pie-shaped grains in the microstructures of cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets from Liuzhou Iron Steel Co. The results of the research indicated that through revising cold rolling process and annealing process, the properties of cold-rolled deep drawing steel sheets based on CSP process could reach or even surpass those sheets based on traditional hot rolling process.
