In this research work, cellulase was pretreated by static magnetic field(SMF) and different surfactants, such as anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS), cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB), and non-ionic surfactant OP 10. It was found that the optimal concentration of the surfactants were 1mM, 0.1mM, and 0.1%(v/v), respectively. For the pH profiles, the enzymatic assays were carried out at pH values ranging from 3.0 to 6.0. The overall results indicated that cellulase exhibited its optimum relative activity in the pH range of 4.0–4.6. The relative activity of cellulase for the SMF-SDS group, SMF-CTAB group, and SMF-OP 10 group were 75.8%, 73.9%, and 76.5% of the maximum activity at pH 6.0, respectively. For the temperature profiles, the overall results indicated that the relative activity of cellulase increased at temperatures ranging from 30 to 60°C and then decreased dramatically at higher temperatures. The relative activity of cellulase for the SMF-SDS group, SMF-CTAB group, and SMF-OP 10 group were 59.2%, 58.6%, and 37.5% of the maximum activity at 80°C, respectively. The temperature stability, michaelis constant and secondary structure of cellulase were also explored in this study, it was seen that the temperature stability was improved by the synergistic action, the kinetic parameters and circular dichroism spectra have also been changed by the synergistic action of the static magnetic field and different surfactants.
