As a kind of excellent membrane material, titanium silicalite (TS-1) film not only has advantages with excellent thermal, chemical stability and mechanical strength of inorganic membrane materials, but also has the unique pore structure of zeolite membrane materials. The introduction of titanium also makes it an excellent shape-selective catalyst, and thus promises it encouraging prospects in the area of membrane separation, membrane catalysis and membrane reactor. And it has a good catalytic effect in a series of green shape-selective oxidation of organic matters by H2O2. Therefore, it is important to study the synthesis and application of TS-1 membrane.In this thesis, several kinds of precursor solutions with different ingredients were prepared firstly, and then several kinds of TS-1 zeolite particles were synthesized using conventional hydrothermal method and microwave irradiation method. The TS-1 samples were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM and UV-Vis to analyze the crystal size and morphology and form of titanium species, and finally the suitable TS-1 seeds with proper crystal morphology and catalytic activity were selected. Then the dense and defect free TS-1 film was synthesized on the seeded porousα-Al2O3 substrate with TS-1 seeds by secondary growth. At the same time, the fine TS-1 film was also synthesized on the seeded porousα-Al2O3 substrate with silicalite-1 seeds by secondary growth, and the silicalite-1 crystals is easily synthesized and and its cost is low. The synthesis method of TS-1 film was conducted by earlier relevant study. Firstly, the proportion of precursor solution and preparation process were initially determined. Then, by the characterization of SEM, FT-IR, XRD, UV-Vis and completeness testing, the related properties of TS-1 membrane were contrasted and analyzed. The influence of different seeds and dispersion methods, different proportion of precursor solution, different crystallization time and other factors on the performance of TS-1 film was investigated. Finally, the the proportion of precursor solution and preparation process with better comprehensive properties were choosed. At last, the silicalite-1 crystals were also used as seeds to synthesize TS-1 membrane, and the membrane is dense and defect free. The performance of TS-1 membrane synthesized with two different seeds are basically similar through the related characterization and testing methods .Finally, according to the similar structure and high hydrophobic characteristics between silicalite-1 membrane and TS-1 membrane, the TS-1 membranes were applied to the permeation of CO2/ N2 binary gas mixture and the pervaporation of low concentration of ethanol / water to investigate the application of TS-1 membranes.
