Not only will the vibration mill reduce production efficiency and product quality, but it brights immeasurable impact on the deterioration of the equipment. So solve the problem of rolling mill vibration is an important research projects in rolling mill design and steel-rolling production department, which has long attracted attention of scholars. In previous studies of rolling mill vibration, because torsional vibration frequency is far below the vertical vibration frequency, which will generally separated to research on mill main drive system of torsional vibration and vertical vibration. However, with the improvement of rolling speed, the structure of rolling mill is large-scale and complex, coupled vertical and torsional vibration will be inevitable. Therefore, to enhance research reveals the effects between vertical vibration and torsional vibration of rolling is a new topic in vibration of a rolling mill.Based on Cheng Gang R1of 1780 hot rolling mill as the research object, carried out dynamic analysis, separately studied the system response considering coupled vertical and torsional vibration and without considering coupled vertical and torsional vibration. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Establish the main transmission system dynamic model and obtain the natural frequencies of torsional vibration system and the main vibration mode.According to the system's actual load, calculated the axis section torque amplitude factor (TAF). The results coincide with the experimental results.(2)Establish a dynamic model of vertical vibration system and obtain the system's vertical natural frequency and vibration mode, and simulated the system response of the up and down rolls under the action of rolling force. (3)Present a dynamical modeling method of vertical torsional coupled, establish dynamics model of the beginning mill vertical torsional coupled, combining on-site measurement, determine beginning mill vertical torsional coupled coefficient. Analysis results show that it exists on the mutual influence between torsional vibration and vertical vibration. The magnitude that represents the degree of mutual influence is different. This research result reveals the relationships between vertical vibration and torsional vibration of the rough mill, the magnitude which vertical torsional coupled vibration generation influence on and provides dynamic design with theory basis.
