| This dissertation taking the detection technology as a starting point, and the system of the straightness accuracy detection of the comma scraping roller as the research object, which included general scheme, hardware system, and software system and provide the specific processing error data. So it is easier to find the location which have the larger error and deal with it.According to the requirements of the detection system on the comma scraping roller, the general planning of the system was proposed. The detection system was composed by the motor control system which is on basis of Siemens PLC S7-200 and PC data acquisition system which is on basis of VC and the mechanical platform.First, based on the structural features of the comma scraping roller's knife-edge, the mechanical platform was designed, on which we can implement fixing the comma scraping roller and locating it. Then, the slide platform was designed which there was a slide block on it. So Hall linear displacement transducer can uniformly move in a straight line with the slide block and implement the data acquisition.Second, the stepping motor control system was designed to drive the slide block which was on the basis of the Siemens PLC S7-200. In the system we use the HMI TD200 to set the speed of the stepping motor.Finally, data acquisition system was designed which was on basis of VC and PC. On it we can collect the data on real time and display it at the same time. Then we can analyze the data and acquire the straightness error of the comma scraping roller. Meanwhile some functions was designed which include data saving,data importing,data amplifying and data printing and so on. In the end, the communication task with the motor control system was accomplished which we can use to control the stepper motor through the software on PC.
