This paper includes five parts. The main research purpose is to develop some new methods for the synthesis of new trifluoromethyl-contained compounds using the C-C, C-O, C-N or C-S bond forming reactions.(1) Some commonly methods were reviewed for the formation of the basic chemical bonds, such as C-C, C-O, C-N, and C-S bond forming reaction. Compared with C-S bond forming reaction, there are many famous methods for the previous three bonds formation, and the papers of the carbon-sulfur bond formation are less. Thus, three methods are summarized for the carbon-sulfur bond formation.(2) The Pd(PPh3)4-catalyzed coupling of (2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-en-1-yl)- benzene with phenylboronic acid has been reported, and the effects of different groups has been discussed.(3) FeCl3-catalyzed coupling reactions of 2,2,2-trifluoro-N-phenylacetimidoyl chlorides with benzenethiols under mild conditions have developed for the synthesis of CF3 contained vinyl thioether.(4) 2-(Trifluoromethyl)benzo[b]thiophene, 2-(trifluoromethyl)benzo[d]thiazole and their derivatives were synthesized by 1-halo-2-(2-chloro-3,3,3- trifluoroprop-1-en-1-yl)benzene coupled with Na2S, and N-(2-halophenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroacetimidoyl chloride coupled with NaSH using CuI catalyst.(5) The synthesis of 1-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-isochromene and its derivatives has been reported using o-alkynyl benzaldehyde and CF3TMS as the reaction partners. It is noteworthy that the reaction is carried out in the presence of water under metal-free conditions.
