This dissertation consisted of two parts. The first one is focused on the synthesis of 2,5-Dichlorophenol. The second is focused on the synthesis of 7-ethyltryptophol which is a kind of pharmaceutical intermediate.The first part consists of the reaction system design, equipment selection, and study on the synthetic technology. By analyzing the diazotization, hydrolysis reaction mechanism, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of pipeline reactor and kettle-type reactor, pipeline reaction pipe designed. The CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) software was used for optimization of reaction device parameters and process parameters, and through the experiment a high temperature, rapid reaction equipment and high-yield synthesis process with the total yield of 90% was found. This reaction equipment and process technology than traditional equipment and processes have energy saving, large capacity, high yield, the advantages of continuous production. The second part, analysis on mechanism of formation of hydrazone, Fischer indole synthesis mechanism, the two-phase synthesis of 7-ethyltryptophol was used, and process route was optimized with the total yield of 60.2%. Relatively environmentally friendly ethanol and toluene solvents were used to reduce environmental pollution. In compared with the reported methods, The process have fewer steps, high yield, easy operation etc., with market competitivenes , now in industrial production.
