In order to improve strip surface quality a lot of rolling mills apply the wet formation process. This process as a new technology is widely used in productions. The wet formation system generally consists of pump station wet, sub-control valve units, entrance and exit of air blowing injection devices unit composition. This system is used for cooling, cleaning rollers and flat panels, adjust the shape, improve shape quality and work roll life. The spray device as an important part of the system, its main function is cleaning and cooling. The nozzle in the double stands temper rolling unit is made by the world's leading manufacturer company. This company's products are widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection, agriculture and other fields. It has superior performance, installation and adjustment, easy maintenance and it has good reputation in the international market. This paper takes the nozzle flow field of the wet formation system as the study object, use numerical calculation to study the distribution. Firstly, the nozzle flow field is simplified and simulated by Simulation methods. The modeling is created and by setting parameters in numerical simulation. The basic distributions of the flow field are got by calculation. Secondly, after finish the above simulations, Simulating the nozzle flow fields when the jet beam tilt and the roll surface have a certain speed and under the same internal structure. By conclusion the distribution of velocity and value of the force to the surface of the rolling get the better lay out. Thirdly, internal structure of the nozzle is changed, mainly for changing the gap parameters of the nozzle bottom to get the flow fields in each layout. Combine related data present improved program to design of the structure of the nozzle. Lastly, some experiments are to be done. Simulation result is to be compared by observing the flow characteristics of the flow field in experiment and there are some analyses.
