Micro-bubbles had already been widely used in the oil, chemicals, mining and other fields. In petrochemical industry, because of heavy residual oil viscosity and incompletely combustion resulted in a great waste of energy. Therefore, the micro-bubbles were injected into the heavy and residuum oil, a huge number of bubbles was formed, thus increased the combustion area of liquid fuel, improved combustion efficiency and saved energy. In this paper, the theory of the bubble formation, micro-bubble generation, bubble generator analysis of the structure, had been able to express bubble generator internal pressure, flow rate and the relationship between the several dimensions, and to reflect changes in its internal energy of the basic performance of the bubble generator equation., Designed four bubble generators under the structural design of jet pump theory, tested its performance by experiments to determine the important structural parameter of the optimal distance between pipe and nozzle. In the experiment, gas medium used compressed air, the liquid medium used water, mainly by changing the structure of bubble generator and operating parameters (liquid pressure, gas flow and liquid flow, etc.), a large number of experiments was did, in order to observed the impact of generated size of bubbles. Using high-speed CMOS array camera system for the different conditions on the bubbly flow field observations, and using compatible with the software used for analysis, processing. Test liquid pressure was set in the pressure of 0.05MPa to 0.25MPa, in the status of small flow operatives. Analysis of the experiment results, we found that the distance between pipe and nozzle of bubble generator, pipe length and the operation of the parameters had effect on the size of the bubble and the bubble velocity. By analyzing and processing of test data also obtained the optimal distance between pipe and nozzle and optimum structure of bubble generator.
