The corrosion of sulfur compound and naphthenic acid has always been the centerof international attention. The researches on corrosion have made some achievements. However, there are too much factors mixed with reciprocal interaction in the reaction. As a result, the mechanism of corrosion reaction has not been made clear. If we cannot resolve this problem, then it will cause a loss to petroleum industry. Accordingly, this paper makes a sense to refinary.Through some simulated experiments, we briefly discussed four important affecting factors, including temperature,sulfur content,TAN and material. Take 16MnR,0Cr13,304,316L as hanger's material and oil fraction as medium. By research, we got the weight loss of hanger and cumulated the corrosion rate of medium. The empirical formula of sulfur content & corrosion rate was obtained succeefully. At the same time, I established the Arrhenius equation of naphthenic corrosion and gained the activation energy.The real boiling point distillation was carried out for Sour Crude mixed with highly acidic crude oil for for the first time and supervened with measure of corrosion ability. In contrast to the single oil fraction, the two kinds of mixed diesel fraction had a certain degree of difference. Study Says if the rasio of Acid/Sulfur was less-than 30%, then the interaction of sulfur compound and naphthenic acid could be neglected.From observing topography of hanger we could learned that if the corrosion was serious then a thin film covered the surface of the hanger. According to our results, the ability of anti-corrosion of four materials was sorted in this way: 316L>304>0Cr13>16MnR. Element Cr,Mo in the alloy steel are conducive to anti-corrosion. Therefore, some preventive actions like desalting or equipment upgrades should be adopted to insure the safty of refinary.
