Adsorption Effect And Recovery Of Crop Wastes On The Oil Spill

Several rop wastes were selected as the adsorbing material. According to the adsorption law and adsorption equilibrium relationship of materials on the oil spill (diesel and crude oil), the adsorption ablity of materials were stuied. Straw and corn bran were selected as the modified objects because their adsorption ablity were not good. According to the studies of the modified straw and corn bran with tung oil and thermal modification, their adsorption ablity after the modification were studied and the adsorption ablity before the modification and after the modification were measured. Because the adsorption ability of reed was best in the crop wastes, it was slected as the adsorption material, according to the adsorption experiment of reed on four kinds of crude oil, its applicability scope of adsorption on the crude oil was stuied.The result showed that the adsorption ability of wheat shell was the best among the materials, its equilibrium adsorption was 3.335mg/mg. The adsorption time of materials on the oil were very short, about 5min. The best adsorption ability of material on the Jinzhou oil is reed, its equilibrium adsorption was 2.325mg/mg. The hydrophobic ability of straw and corn bran were enhanced after modification with tung oil, and there adsorption time on the oil were 5min, but there equilibrium adsorption did not increase. The adsorption time of thermal modified materials on the oil was short. They were same before 100℃whenever before or after thermal modification. The adsorption time of straw and corn bran were shortened when the temperature was increasing after their thermal modification. When the temperature was 150℃and 200℃, their adsorption time were 4min and 3min. The equilibrium adsorption of straw on oil increased when the temperature was increased, but when the temperature was 200℃, its equilibrium adsorption on the oil began to decrease. The equilibrium adsorption of corn bran on oil did not change so much, about 2.32mg/mg. The study of the adsorption of reed on four kinds of crude oil showed that its adsorption time on Suizhong oil was the shortest, was 3min, and its adsorption time on other three oil were same, were 5min. When the dosage W and initial concentration of oil were same, the equilibrium adsorption of reed on these oil were same, about 2.84mg/mg.
