Experimental Study On The Characteristics Of Down-hole Helico-Axial Multiphase Pump

Down-hole helico-axial multiphase pump is a new technology for pumping underground oil and gas mixture. In order to meet the needs of the high gas wells, offshore marginal oil wells and coal bed methane wells development, our laboratory designed the down-hole helico-axial multiphase pump, and done the experimental study on the characteristics.Through the analysis of mixed gas-liquid two-phase medium theory transmission, we got the pump design parameters, and made the experimental prototype. In order to verify the rationality of the design, installation and commissioning of the mixed pumping test bench, and developed the pilot program. On this basis, used pure water and gas-liquid mixture as the test medium and do the external characteristics of the prototype test.In the test-bed design process, in order to reduce the complexity of manual operation, designed the test rig control systems, including motor frequency control system and automatic test data acquisition and analysis system. Analyzed the frequency principle, and carried out the drive selection; through the selection of sensors and acquisition module layout to achieve the automatic data acquisition and analysis, and developed the electrical control system program interface, all this made the test-bed simple, rapid and improve the test-bed design automation and test accuracy.In order to solve the axial force of multiphase pump during operation of the pilot test, based on the axial force generation, analysis the calculation of the axial force, and reached its calculation formula, on the base, combined with the traditional pump axial force balance method, and the actual test conditions for the prototype testing, selected the thrust bearing axial force balance method and designed the corresponding software to select bearing.Through the external characteristic curve of the multiphase pump under different conditions and analyzed the tests results for the prototype performance, taking into account the impact of viscosity on the characteristic curves, all the results showed that the theory of multiphase pump designing is correct and meet the requirements...
