With the improvement of people’s living standards, the demand for clothing is also increasing. In addition to focusing on clothing style, people pay more attention to the function of clothing comfort. For example, sports clothing not only meet the needs of the body movement, but also should have wicking function, and thermal manikin technology is the main method of evaluating the clothing comfort. The thermal manikin has physiological characteristics which can simulate the human temperature regulation mechanism and human sweating mechanism. The "Walter" walkable fabric sweating manikin is by far the most advanced manikin, which can measure the main parameters of clothing comfort-thermal resistance and moisture resistance. And the experiment can be repeated well. Because the "Walter" manikin sweating function is realized by Gore-tex waterproof and breathable fabric, it can sweat evenly and uniformly. However, based on physiological characteristics of human body, the human sweat is uneven in different parts. Depends on this research status, the adult male body sweat distribution is studied. And by coating technology, the uneven sweating manikin is manufactured.Firstly, this paper studies the distribution of men body sweating rate and defines the concept of relative intensity. The results show that the strength of men sweating in different parts is followed back> head> chest> abdomen> leg> arm> thigh> upper arm.Secondly, in order to prepare the non-uniform sweating manikin, the moisture permeability of silicone coated fabric with Gore-tex fabric as cloth is studied. The results show that the smaller of the coating, the worse of its moisture permeability ability. In this paper the coating thickness is 0.15mm. The greater of the coating area, the smaller of the moisture permeability of the fabric. And water vapor permeability of the fabric and coating area negatively correlated linear relationship, the function is y=91.97-79.60x. With this function, the coating area can be figured out with certain strength of sweating.At the same time this paper studies the effects of moisture permeability to thermal resistance and moisture resistance. The results show that the greater of the moisture permeability of fabric, the smaller the thermal resistance and moisture resistance, on the contrary, the smaller the moisture permeability of the fabric, the greater thermal resistance and moisture resistance.Finally, the sewing process of the "Walter" sweating manikin is mastered and the non-uniform sweating manikin skin is produced. Then using this non-uniform sweating manikin the clothing heat and moisture comfort is measured. In this experiment, set the ambient temperature of 20±1℃, relative humidity of 65±5%. With uniform sweating and non-uniform sweating manikin separately measures three ensembles comfort which is pure cotton sports T-shirt and pure cotton pants, pure cotton shirt and pure cotton slacks, suit working clothes. The results show that the thermal and moisture resistance of these three ensembles with uniform sweating manikin is larger than those with non-uniform sweating manikin.And the moisture resistance varies greatly.
