In this paper, single cerussite、real ore flotation and vulcanization mechanism have been studied, focus on the cerussite vulcanized flotation process and flotation mechanism, studied the impact of the sodium sulfide to the cerussite flotation process and the best reagent system; using the scanning electron microscopy, energy disperse spectroscopy and UV spectroscopy methods, researched the amount of sodium sulfide, the vulcanizing time and the amount of butyl xanthate influential cerussite surface morphology, S element content and butyl xanthate adsorption. While explained the role of sodium sulfide in cerussite flotation.Using single cerussite flotation process and reagent system as a reference, in the real ore flotation that achieved good results.Single cerussite flotation tests and theoretical study of the real ore flotation has played a guiding role, it reached a consistent theory and practice.By single cerussite flotation tests found butyl xanthate can collect unvulcanized cerussite, but multi-drug consumption, low recoveries. An appropriate amount of sodium sulfide can change the nature of the cerussite, become easy to float, but after effect of excess sodium sulfide, the recovery decreases.The main factors affecting the cerussite flotation were:pH of the solution, the amount of the sodium sulfide, the vulcanizing time, the type of collector and the amount of collector. When the pH of 10.4, sodium sulfide in an amount of 1.8×10-3 mol/L, the vulcanizing time of 5 mins, butyl xanthate as collector, butyl xanthate in an amount of 1.07×10-3 mol/L, the maximum recovery was 89.55%.By SEM analysis showed that the face of the cerussite smooth; after adding an appropriate amount of sodium sulfide cerussite surface is relatively rough; it relatively smooth white adding an excess of sodium sulfide. An appropriate amount of sodium sulfide can change the nature of the cerussite surface, making it hydrophobic and thus increase its flotation, making it becomes easy to float, an excess of sodium sulfide influence the flotation.By EDS analysis, after adding an appropriate amount of sodium sulfide, cerussite content of the element surface S is 1.21%. That said S-component produced by hydrolysis of sodium sulfide cerussite surface effects and adsorbed on the surface, cerussite has a surface properties of lead sulfide minerals, floatability changed for better, so that the highest recovery rate; When the cerussite with an excess of sodium sulfide effects, the surface S elemental weight percentages of about 1.50%; With increasing concentration of sodium sulfide and sulfur content of the cerussite surface increases. The appropriate amount of sodium sulfide can promote cerussite flotation, but not conducive to an excess of sodium sulfide cerussite flotation.By UV spectral analysis found that sodium sulfide has a great influence on the adsorption butyl xanthate, under the same conditions, after adding sodium sulfide, butyl xanthate adsorption amount has decreased, indicating that moderate sodium sulfide flotation solution can improve the environment of flotation, promote flotation and helps to reduce the consumption of butyl xanthate. Analysts believe that the added sodium sulphide can be precipitated from the solution cerussite dissolved lead components. On the other hand, sodium sulfide hydrolysis HS", S2" and competitive adsorption with X" (xanthan acid radical anion), causing a reduction in the amount of adsorption butyl xanthate. With increasing concentration of sodium sulfide, adsorption decreases, indicating that increase the concentration of sodium sulfide can reduce the consumption of butyl xanthate, excessive amount of sodium sulfide, butyl xanthate adsorption decreased significantly. Vulcanizing time is an important factor butyl xanthate adsorption effects with increasing vulcanizing time, first increases then decreases the amount of adsorption. Description of butyl xanthate adsorption vulcanizing time has a certain influence, an appropriate vulcanizing time increase can absorb more of butyl xanthate, vulcanizing time is too long will result in a reduction of cerussite surface butyl xanthate.In single cerussite flotation process and medicament system as a reference, the real ore flotation to verify the theoretical results of reliability. The real ore are mainly cerussite, Pb grade of 24.1%, gangue as SiO2, grade of 59.48%, vulcanized-xanthate flotation, sodium sulfide total amount of 1250 g/t, the vulcanizing time of each segment is 5 mins, butyl xanthate total amount of 1500 g/t,2# oil total amount of 100 g/t, closed circuit can be achieved Pb grade of 59.48%,91.69% recovery of cerussite concentrate mixed to achieve a good result, consistent with the theoretical results.
