Study On The Process Quality

Crdiovascular and cerebrovascular disease is the first "killer"that seriously affects human health. Atherosclerotic plaques in human blood will gradually lead to form thrombose clots lumen, cause diseases such as coronary heart disease, cerebral thrombosis and cerebral infarction.Erigeron breviscapus is a traditional Chinese herb to be used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases for a long time in China. Extraction of Erigeron breviscapus, an oral liquid, is an exclusive product from Kunming Zhenghua Pharmaceutical. Breviscapine and caffeic acid are to been known as active constituents. In current quality standards, the content of total flavonoids and breviscapine are under quality control and not for phenolic acids. In this thesis, the main research work is as follows:1.A method is to be established for determination of chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, caffeoylquinic acid and scutellarin in Erigeron breviscapus Extraction by HPLC.2. Four active constituents, which chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, caffeoylquinic acid and breviscapine are monited in manufacture process, especially during three key process steps of extraction, impurity removal, sterilization. Experimental results showed that cleaning and sterilization process of chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, caffeoylquinic acid have a certain effect.3. The stability of Erigeron breviscapus Extraction was test by accelerating stability test and long-term stability test. The test results showed that the content of Scutellarin were basically stable.
