The high perennial production of amber in the counties, such as Russia, Poland and Dominica, make their mineral resources depleted and the export volume decreased year by year. The price of the ore amber rose year by year, the best amber annual rose 100%. Since 2010, Myanmar amber received extensive attention. But the reasons of the mining, processing and other technology are undate, and it make Myanmar amber have a low rate of ore resource utilization. High quality amber produced less. The study of Myanmar amber’s reconstructed technology is for improving the utilization of its resources, so that it has a certain market value. In this paper, the study on the reconstructed process of Myanmar amber by using the high temperature blast drying oven, hydrothermal reaction vessel, and high-temperature tube furnace. Conventional gemological instruments, molecular structure characteristics and the succinic acid content of nature and reconstructed Myanmar amber are studied by conventional gemmological instruments, infrared spectrum, the colorimetric apparatus and LC-MS. The results show:(1) When the experimental temperature is 335 ℃ and the holding time is 2h, the Myanmar amber can be completely melted, no bubbles, color is light brown yellow, transparent, resin luster and the lowest loss in the absence of oxygen. With the increase of experimental temperature and holding time, the loss of Myanmar amber will gradually mcrease.(2) Reconstructed Myanmar amber:color is brownish yellow to brownish yellow, transparent, gloss resin, refractive index is 1.49-1.50, density is 1.03g/cm3-1.04g/cm3, hardness less than 5.5, LW showed strong bluish violet fluorescence, crossed polarizer shows full brightness. The reconstructed amber has the same spectroscopy with nature Myanmar amber in Middle infrared spectroscopy. In Near infrared spectroscopy, the heat treatment amber and the reconstructed Myanmar ambers have strong absorption peak in 9000cm-1-4000cm-1, but nature Myanmar amber don’t have any absorption peak in this range.Nature Myanmar amber failed to detect succinic acid, and 4.55(mg/kg) succinic acid was detected in reconstructed Myanmar amber.
