Metal-catalyzed coupling reaction is an important method to construct the C-C bond in the past few decades due to its high precision and efficiency, which is widely used in the synthesis of drug intermediates. There are many kinds of Metal catalyzed coupling reactions such as Negeshi Negeshi, Kumada, Suzuki, Stile, Hiyama, Heck, Sonogashir and so on, which have brought many advantages including high atomic economy, clean and efficient in the field of organic synthesis. During the past decade, with the rapid development of nanotechnology, scientists have focused on the heterogeneous catalyst with less dosage, high efficiency, recycled, mild conditions and ligand-free conditions. Much more kinds of heterogeneous catalyst have been found and reported. However, the traditional heterogeneous catalyst could be recovered by centrifugal separation that are difficult to operate in industrial production. It is of great importance to develop a new type of heterogeneous catalyst with easier separation processes.In this paper, two kinds of the heterogeneous catalysts Pd&Cu@Al and Fe&Cu@Al were prepared by simple methods. The morphology were characterized by FE-SEM, EDS, ICP, FE-SEM, XPS. The catalytic activities were also investigated. The products were characterized by IR, GC-MS and NMR. The research contents are as follows:The Fe&Cu@Al catalyst was prepared from cheap iron and copper loaded on the aluminum foil and the surface of which was made up of several tens of nanometers with large surface area. The catalyst in Suzuki coupling reaction was found to have very high catalytic activity and the yield could be as high as 99%, and the catalyst can be reused for 7 times. TON (number turnover) is as high as 2040.The Pd&Cu@Al catalyst was obtained by adding metal palladium and copper to the aluminum foil. And the catalyst was successfully applied to the Heck reaction. The yield was 80%. TON value was as high as 38700.The result showed two kinds of catalysts loaded on aluminum foil can catalyze a series of classic coupling reactions with no ligand, high efficiency, low load and mild conditions. The recycling of catalyst is convenient, TON value is high.
