This thesis consists of four chapters. In CHAPTER ONE, the current state and development of analytical organic pollutants analysis in water sample were summarized. The methods of sample pretreatment and determination were summarized systemically and these methods applied to analysis of organic pollutants as well.In CHAPTER TWO, a method has been established for the determination of organic pollutants in water sample by macroporous resin and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Parameters relevant to the extraction performance, such as pretreatment of macroporous resin, the volumn of cleaning solvent, the ratio and the volumn of extraction solvent were optimized. By GC/MS, the Baiyang Lake contains phthalate esters, alkanes, organic acid, heterocyclic. Organic pollutants in Baiyang Lake were determined by using GC-FID. Under the optimum condition, good linearity was in the range from 0.5μg/mL to 50.0μg/mL and correlation coefficients were above of 0.9999. The limits of detection were 0.020~0.039μg/mL(S/N=3), the recoveries of six PAEs ranged from 56.5% to 113.9%.In CHAPTER THREE, a simple, rapid and novel method, dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME), was used for the determination of six phthalate esters in water samples, using gas chromatography coupled with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Under the optimum extraction conditions (extraction solvent:carbon tetrachloride; dispersive solvent: acetonitrile), a good linear relationship was obtained in the range of 1.0~100.0μg/L, the correlation coefficients of 0.9971~0.9995 and the limits of detection were between 0.18μg/L and 1.0μg/L (S/N=3). The water samples in BaiYang Lake were successfully analyzed using the proposed method, the recoveries fell in the range of 70.9%~119.1%.In CHAPTER FOUR, a fast method has been estabished for the determination of the eight organochlorine pesticides in water of the Baiyang Lake by gas chromatography (GC) withμECD detection. The samples were enriched by liquid-liquid extraction and purified by concentrated sulfuric acid. By external standard method was quantitative analysis method. The results show that the detection limit of the method are in the range of 0.0033~0.015μg/L (S/N=3). Recoveries of organochlorine pesticides are in the range of 61.4~121.8%.
