High manganese steel is austenite manganese steel, which has a strong impact toughness. Usually it does not brittle fracture, and has the property of wear resistance. In strong impact, it will work harden on the surface of the steel., where the stiffness can reach as high as 500-700HB, So it is widely used in the facilities which has to suffer impact, such as the soleplate, jaw plate, the teeth of digging machine. Alloying is one of the effective ways to improve abrasion resistance of austenite manganese steel. In recent years the steel researchers attach importance of multivariate alloying at the home and abroad, and they have carried out a train of research. However, the research that the effect of strength and abrasion resistance of the high manganese steel with micro-alloying is very few. Therefore the study of high manganese steel with boron is useful and important. The main study is about high manganese steel with trace boron, which means a lot to the reality.High manganese steel with micro-alloying is a new antifriction material in this study. It is obtained by adding micro-alloy to the general high manganese steel. The sample are taken from the edge of the shovel, the backing board of the edge of globe mill,the jaw plate and the backing board of the silo of the ball mill with micro-alloying. And then in different water quenched craftworks. We analyzed the organization and wear resistance materials in different conditions. The idiographic contents are:(1) the effect of different heat treatment handcrafts on the wear resistance of the jaw plate, liner and shovel-edge (2) the measure and research on fluidity,linear shrinkage, micro-structure, the hardness,impact toughness of the high manganese with chromium,boron and other micro-alloying elements. (3)the analysis on the relict of the parts with newly abrasion and the judge of the types of the abrasions and the reasons.The results showed that:(1) The wear resistance of high manganese with micro-alloying increases,compared to the normal high manganese steel, the life span of jaw plate of the jaw crusher increased 2.3 times, liner of ball mill increasing 0.2 times and edge of shovel increasing 0.3 times. (2). Properties and microstructure were improved by adding B,Cr,RE into the high manganese steel. longevity of jaw plate, liner,shovel-edge were increased because of adding B,Cr, RE. (3) The ductile-to-brittle transition temperature and impact toughtness was affected by different heat treatment. For the materials of ball mill liner, the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature was -40℃at the temperature 1080℃, while at 1050℃, it was 0℃. So the range of the decrease is high.(4) By using TECNAI G2 20 transmission electron microscope,we concluded that carbonization structure was austenite and alloy carbonization (Fe,Cr)3C, (Fe,Mn)3C or (Fe,Cr,Mn)3C; boride could separated out of austenite crystal;...
