The Lower Yellow River embankment dike has a long history, In order to prevent flooding of the Yellow River, since 1946 the people conducted a number of the original large-scale dike heightening and thickening, so that the height and strength of embankments has been greatly improved. The Lower Yellow River embankments have been used before dyke strengthening by warping, pressure grouting and cutoff wall reinforcement measures, After a long proved dyke strengthening by warping can significantly improve the overall stability of the dike; warping body can provide a venue for flood control and raw materials;at the same time it has a role of reducing sludge blocking, and it was planned for the Lower Yellow River dike strengthening selected key measures. But in recent years, warping in the construction process of regional dike appear to varying degrees landslide phenomenon, this will not only jeopardize the overall security of the embankment, but also takes a lot of work, wasting a lot of manpower and material resources.In this paper, the use of Naturwall flexible bag filter drainage, reinforced protective function, designing dyke strengthening by warping construction project, to protect the security and stability while dike can reduce the cost of engineering materials for the Lower Yellow River dike the use of new technology, it is optional for the Lower Yellow River dike works and provide a theoretical basis for construction of the new technology and support.In this paper, do the following several aspects:(1) Right at home and abroad, as well as the use of geosynthetic materials, review current status of vegetation in slope and analysis application prospect of eco-bag revetment.(2) Researching embankment construction project status, investigating and analysis of existing dyke strengthening by warping engineering construction method in Shandong Dezhou, collecting and collating information on soil characteristics.(3) According to the different designs of laying flexible bag, select a representative section of the Yellow River dike which has 10 or 50meters long. Through the emplacement of monitoring equipment to observe the embankment surface, deep changes in displacement, as well as the intensity of soil.(4) According to the trial selected a representative cross-section of soil to the soil physical properties and mechanical properties of the basic test, at the same time to do flexible eco-zone mechanical performance test and friction performance test, in order to provide a basis for numerical simulation parameters selected.(5) According to on-site monitoring results of optimization of flexible eco-bags best laid, to calculate different of the safety factor which reinforcement under different eco-bag dike program,to provide support of embankment construction using new technology and new materials.
