The slope stability analysis is a very complex project, and also the core content of the slope design and management. Among the various faetors that affect the safety of the soil slope, seepage flow can not be ignored, the simplified methods, such as: replaeed weight method and hydrostatie pressure method, were proposed on the basis of many years'experience in slope stability analysis, but it is unrealistic. Aetually,There is interaction between seepage and stress, and the effeet between two fields is dynamic,it is called solid-fluid coupling relation. So it is theoretical and practical significance to study the coupling of seepage and stress how to influence the slope stability. This dissertation is based on soil slope stbility analysis, a method has been developed to estimate the excavation slope stbailiyt, combing the FEM srtength reduction and the ABAQUS sotfware. In this new mehtod,it is regarded as the critical state of slope stability when Plastic Strain zone has un-through to the top and the generalized plastic strain with the displacement appear infinite development. From the results of exampe, this method is reasonable and feasible; Describes the finite element analysis of seepage theory, the calculating method of seepage field is obtained and then the seepage force is calculated, achieve the numerical simulation of seepage based on ABAQUS; based on the coupled seepage and stress field FEM theory, by the analysis of coupled seepage and stress, with the water seepage considered, the method is developed to estimate the excavation slope stability based on the effection of water seepage action to the slope soil and the theory of FEM strength reduction by coupling the seepage field and stress field, and the analysis of the slope stability was respectively conducted in three deferent situations without the consideration of water seepage and with the consideration of seepage-stress coupling and un-coupling the study results show that the seepage-stress coupling have directly significant function to the stability of the slope, but the effection of the coupling and non-coupling action is little, even negligible; Lastly, the influences of cohesion, internal friction angle, hydraulic head and permeability coefficient to slop stability are analyzed, and the conditions of simple calculation to seepage or ignoring seepage are presented. The dissertation analysis the impact of water seepage on slope stability, presents a slope stability safety factor method of taking into account the seepage with finite element strength reduction method, give reasonable to the design and consurtction of the slope engineering.
