Firstly, the research background of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is presented. An overview of the PMSM control strategy for development and its structure, characteristics, application and mathematical model in different coordinate system are given. On this basis, the basic principles of direct torque control strategy is studied and direct torque system of PMSM is built. The simulation results prove that the method is feasible. Secondly, space voltage vector modulation technology called SVM-DTC control system is introduced into direct torque control strategy to improve traditional direct torque control system. The design of stator flux module is improved according to the characteristics. The simulation results shows that the torque and flux pulsation is reduced effectively, the control performance of the system is improved. At last, on the premise of theoretical basis and simulation PMSM direct torque system hardware architecture based on DSP is built, which plans reasonably functional modules and gives software support on the basis of hardware design.
