This paper takes the double round car which has been re-equiped by the XIALI vehicle as the pure electric vehicle's experiment the platform, and takes sail lead-acid batteries as the study objection, carries on the rescearch to be suitable for batteries management system of the pure electric vehicle. The main purpose is to raise efficiency of energy of battery, extent battery service life and reliability.This paper uses the method which are the ampere hour law (A.h) and the open-circuit voltage methods to estimate the state of charge of battery, and adapts the simulation software of vehicle ADVISOR, in the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, builds the simulation model to confirmat the accuracy of estimation. In the design of hardware of the batteries management system, we use the design proposal of dispersed gathering and centralized processing,makes use of the MC9S12DP128MPV control chip to comput the information, then obtains the state of charge of battery, status of work of single battery, current, temperature and so on. In the process of the design of hardware, it's introduced clearly about the design of the ECU control unit, the signal gathering electric circuit, the DC/DC power-switch circuit, the CAN communication interface circuit and the display of the system and so on. The Integrated Freescale exploitated environment–CodeWarrior is used to simulate and debug , improve the efficiency of development, and make sure the reliability of study.Finally, as to the batteries management system which designed by this paper to debug and make the experiment in the whole vehcile. Indicated by the scene experiment, this paper has designed the batteries management system could realize the accumulator the related information of voltage, the charging and discharging current, the temperature and so on, it can estimate the surplus capacity and the state of charge of battery, through LCD displays surplus capacity of battery, LED displays the fault and then alert.
