Karst areas are broad in our country local, which are prominent in the water resources utilization, and the resources of hydro-energy are also abundance. Massive projectes which have been or will be constructed such as Hydraulic and Hydro-Power Engineering,Soil and Water Conservation Engineering and Water Utilization.edc are inevitably involve seepage stability and reliability, efficiency undoubtedly become main problems.In this paper,it combine the project of Huaihua Yuanjiang Power Development Company"the mechanical characteristics of clay-cement slurry engineering test in Tuokou",it takes impervious curtain of river bend land parcel in Tuokou hydropower station as the study object. We research the grouting material properties in different karst development pattern and various hydrogeological conditions of complicated geological conditions.By choosing the clay-hardening grouts and through orthogonal experiment design in different proportion of calculus compressive strength test to determine the optimal proportioning, select the optimal proportioning making specimen compressive strength, plastic strength and shear strength test to determine the mechanical parameters. Through numerical simulation on the calculation of the transfusion and stable with corresponding perfusion to the stability to guiding engineering design and construction.(1)By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various grouting material especially various performance between clay-hardening grouts and pure cement grout. The clay-hardening grouts have good anti-water dilution when under the ground water mobile who have small seriflux loss and good olidifying effect, and the size configuration could be conducted, the size prehardening time could be adjusted, which have the good changing performance and the pumpability: fine function of crevasse self-seal. After the solidification, the formed calculus have big plasticity and fine resistance performance against earthquake.(2) With the anti-seepage processing method in Tuokou hydropower stations and it obtain the most superior allocated proportion and corresponding mechanics parameter through the clay-hardening grouts mechanical test indoor. Refers to other project experiences, according to the usual clay cement mortar material allocated proportion situation, the clay-hardening calculus's strength will reach 1.605MPa in 28d non-side limits stadium's. Its best allocated proportion : clay mud funnel viscosity is about 25s, cement-increment is 15g/100ml, sodium silicate-increment is 3ml/100ml, firming agen-increment is 3g/1000ml, and the primary factor which affects the grout consolidation strength in short-term in turn is Cement content, sodium silicate content, firming agent content.(3) Three calculates conditions based on FLAC3D software to use the clay-hardening grouts and the pure cement grout to anti-seepage processing joint plane fault and laminated clay foundation at the base of dam as well as cave. Simulate the conditions of dam which have three stress and strain development law of dam seepage control in completion of dam , normal pool level and check flood level in running. The findings indicated that clay-hardening grouts have the same effect with pure cement grout in anti-seepage processing, but whose durability is better. Therefore , this paper recommend the use of clay-hardening grouts as a grouting material.
