Society can not develop without water, human existence is inseparable from the water, especially drinking water, increases water treatment helps to ensure that the nature of the security health of everyone.Among the conventional water treatment processes, disinfection link is critical, but through research found that application of chlorine to disinfect drinking water will have effects on the body in hazardous by-products, there is unsafety. With the continuous improvement of national safety standards for drinking water . Application of liquid chlorine disinfection of drinking water has become even more of the safety of drinking water does not meet the needs of the community. In this paper, study water purification and chlorine dioxide disinfection with the safety theoretical knowledge. First, studied the theories of safety and applications for the security of water disinfection technologies. Then, there is a empirical analysis on the water purification and chlorine doxide disinfection. Through the safety of water purification, it all qualified the 40 checks of the safety check list, and meet the safety requirements of storage and use of dangerous chemicals. Also proved that chlorine dioxide can be replaced by chlorine disinfection of drinking water, and drinking water disinfection by the requirements of national standard. This technique not only economically viable, but also have certain social benefits, and improving the essential safety of drinking water treatment. In summary, the application of chlorine dioxide instead of chlorine to disinfect drinking water is safe, reliable and practical. I hope to spread this method of disinfection, so that everyone can drink "safe water."...
